Want to buy a ring but don't know the size?
To find out the size of a ring there are 2 methods:
Method 1: Measure the circumference of your finger with a thread
To measure the circumference of the finger where you would like to wear the ring follow the following instruction:
-
use a short length of string or wire
-
wrap the thread around your finger
-
with a pencil mark the exact point where the rope or thread overlaps
-
unroll the thread and measure the length with a flat ruler
-
consult the table below, looking for the ring size by circumference.
Method 2: Find a ring that's the right size for your finger
If you have a ring of the right size for your finger, just measure the internal diameter of the ring (with a ruler) and consult the table on my website, below, looking for the ring size by diameter.

It's easy, right?
Ah, I forgot... between two similar sizes I recommend you choose the larger one.
TIPS FOR CORRECT MEASUREMENT:
-
Consider the fact that the fingers of the right hand are a little larger than those of the left hand (the opposite is true for left-handed people)
-
Also take into account the weather outside: generally in hot periods the fingers are swollen.
-
Usually in the morning, as soon as you get up, your fingers are swollen.
So I recommend measuring the finger of the hand where you want to wear the ring with the room temperature, in the middle of the day.
